I am currently studying at
University of Manitoba as a final year Bachelor of Science Electrical Engineering
student specializing in energy and power systems. I will be graduating at the end of this April.
Throughout my education career, I gained many computer programing,
communication and project management skills by working in different projects. I
have programing knowledge in Java, Python and Assembly language and proficient
in simulating circuits using PSPICE and PLECS software. Currently I am learning
high voltage engineering which gives experience in HV testing systems,
transformers and analysis techniques. From this course I gained knowledge in
using COMSOL Multiphysics finite element simulation
software. Moreover, I am currently
studying about modeling of power transmission systems, load flow, faults and
stability analysis in energy systems course. Furthermore, I have a basic
knowledge in using PSCAD and RTDS from working in labs. During last summer, I
worked as a research assistant to develop and test a hybrid digital-analog
transmission system. I built both analog and digital transmitters and receivers;
successfully transferred voice signal over a wireless channel. Currently I am
working on our final year project to build a solar micro inverter. I gained knowledge in power electronics
circuits and enhanced my technical writing, presentation and team management
skills by working on final year project. I simulated power and control circuits
using PLECS software and designed printed circuit boards using Altium Designer.
